Geek Moment - Capos

 I collect capos. I didn’t mean to, but one day I opened a drawer and found a whole community living there.

Anyone who shifts capo positions a lot will understand —

between my Taylor gs Mini and my Wee Lowden, I can go through three before I’ve even tuned up.

They all have personalities:

The Buzzer — wasp in a jar.

The Sharpener — pulls everything sideways.

The Look at Me   — nice, does nothing.

The Out of Step  — clamps five strings, ignores the sixth.

Still, the search goes on.

Now and then, one behaves — no buzz, no drama, no retuning — and you think the quest is over.

Until the next rehearsal. Or the next song.

Or the next late‑night scroll whispering, “Try this one…”

Maybe I’ve found the perfect capo.

For now.
